Durga has parlayed her years of experience as a certified art appraiser into a special talent for conveying the nuanced details of each piece. Currently holding leading fine art appraisal institute senior accreditions, from America Society of Appraisers & International Society of Appraisers Durga Garcia brings a most uncommon background to her pictures, with a past that has taken her to many countries and across America, working as a racehorse trainer, steeplechase jockey, show jumper, equine veterinary paramedic, yoga teacher and member of the U.S. International Pistol Team. She continues to manage the first year of training of Guide Dogs for Southeastern Guide Dogs Inc. Maybe is why she loves shooting dog portraits! One of these black labs in training are often by her side as she works. Wife of a U.S. Marine and football referee and mother of awesome daughters.
